Club Membership

The Club welcomes anybody who has an interest in any of the facets of fly fishing.  Beginner, expert, able bodied and anywhere in between, we look forward to meeting with you and sharing our enthusiasm for fly fishing, tying and casting.

Yearly subs are below and more detail can be found on the Membership Application, which can be downloaded here.

• Once only joining fee of $40
• Junior Member (Under 16 years) - $40.00
• Regular Member - $80.00
• Country Member (Outside 50 km radius of clubrooms and not within Melbourne Metro) - $60.00

Membership is from 1 July to 30 June and first years fees are pro rata.

Club Facilities

N.S.F.F.C. has some of the best facilities of any fly fishing club in Australia.

Clubrooms

Our modern Clubrooms consist of a meeting room, a committee room which houses the Club’s library from which members can borrow books and DVD’s.

The Club trophy cabinet is also contained in this room.  In addition we have a large multi purpose room which has been used for Guest speakers, Film nights, Club auction nights, presentations an even micro rod indoor casting practise.

Casting Pool

Our Casting pool has been specifically built to competition standards and is only 50m from our

Clubrooms and toilet facilities.

We also have practise hoops available for members to use at any time.

 Yarrambat Lake

Our lake is regularly stocked with rainbow Trout as part of the small waters stocking program by fisheries Victoria.  A license is required to fish the lake

Locality

Northern Suburbs Fly Fishing Club are situated at Yarrambat Park, Yan Yean Road, Yarrambat. Take the Golf Course entry, take right turn and end of driveway straight and you will find ourcar park on the right. Melways Ref: 184 F4
