Cox-Connell Casting Trophy and Christmas Party

The Cox-Connell Trophy will be cast on 7 Dec 17 commencing at 7:30 pm at the Club's casting pool.

The Cox-Connell Casting Trophy is a Club perpetual trophy named after Glen Cox and Andrew Connell.  It was named after Glen and Andrew in recognition of their efforts in the construction of the Club's casting pool.

All casters use the same 7 weight rod and line in a dry fly casting format.  All members of the Club are encouraged to enter the competition.

The end of year BBQ is a great time to get together and organise those fishing trips during the Christmas period.  Come up, have a chat and see who's available to take you to their secret spot.  There will be a traditional Club Cristmas BBQ (read snag in bread) to be had and a quick General Meeting.
