Fly Fishing Tutorials

The Beginner’s Fly Tying Course is one of the best ways to learn the art of fly dressing.  The next course is scheduled to commence on 18 November 2023.  Although you can bring your own vice and tools if you have them, the Club provides all the necessary tools and materials to take you from your first Pheasant Tail Nymph right through to your first dry fly.  The Club also holds regular fly tying nights which you are more than welcome to attend, regardless of ability.

The Club also runs numerous other courses, including rod building and instruction on using the Club’s float tubes and navigation.  Keep an eye out here for dates and times or better yet, come to a meeting and find out first hand when they are being run.  Places are usually limited and run out very quickly.
